Directed the company’s distribution center and QC/repair operations with a staff of 1 supervisor, 1 administrative clerk and 14 hourly employees including 4 QC/repair technicians supporting $100 million in domestic sales. The operations resided in two facilities totaling 165,000 square feet. Responsible for developing domestic transportation and warehousing strategies and the implementation of the strategies to improve overall operations and reduce costs. Collaborated with a customer to reduce their transportation expense and labor expense for The Singing Machine Co.

Directed all distribution and transportation activities for the company’s 50,000 square foot distribution center. Staff included 3 managers and 60 employees across 2 shifts. Developed procedures for all major functions of the distribution center improving production, quality and service to customers. Utilized these procedures to provide consistent training for employees, helping to improve performance. Negotiated cost reductions in transportation and supplies.

Rotated through several departments on differing shifts including, Safety, pick/pack operations, stocking, returns in a 450,000 square foot facility and an off-site facility containing legal documents for banks and other financial institutions.
