Profile bio

About Frank Aguilera

I have spent my career working for manufacturers learning different approaches to machining and assembly operations. I moved around over the course of my career, to “educate” myself with real life experiences. Over time, I have acquired training and skills with many processes and have improved my overall knowledge. I am a “hands-on” person that likes to find solutions to manufacturing challenges. I believe that a positive attitude and being pro-active in training and operations are the keys to increasing quality, productivity, and profitability.I began my career as a precision machinist, it allowed me the opportunity to learn many of the challenges encountered in machine shops, and learn different approaches to resolving them. During that time I worked for several machine shops, serving different types of customers. Each of these companies taught me the different techniques required for their customer’s parts. Having begun on the shop floor has benefited me throughout my career. Since then I have been in support positions. Most of that time has been as a manufacturing engineer or as a manager. My knowledge of machining and shop operations has given me the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of manufacturing processes. This was successful by working with people, processes, tooling, vendors, and control systems. For the last several years, I have been a Manufacturing Engineer for T&T Tool. My main duties included programming and managing the cnc mills, and the tool crib. While these were my main responsibilities, I was involved in many aspects of the company.I am currently searching for a Manufacturing Engineer position and the opportunity to utilize my present capabilities. I am hoping to continue the never ending learning process, and contribute to a successful organization.

Listed skills include Precision Measuring, Metal Cutting, Fixture Design, Autocad, and 15 others.
