Special Forces Crisis Response Force Troop Commander responsible for the supervision, command and control, training, and readiness of a 34-man Counter Terrorism Crisis Response Force Troop (CT-CRF), comprises of highly trained and specially selected Officers and Noncommissioned Officers prepared to execute Counter Terrorism (CT), Counter Proliferation (CP), Special Reconnaissance (SR), Foreign Internal Defense (FID), Direct Action (DA), and Unconventional Warfare (UW), including politically sensitive missions in unilateral, joint, or combined operations in support of the EUCOM, CENTCOM, and SOCOM Commanders. Possess cultural and regional awareness, language skills, and other specialized military skills required to operate in any geo-graphical environment. Detachment Commander for a 12-man Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alpha, organized and equipped to conduct Special Operations in support of Overseas Contingency Operations within the USEUCOM Area of Responsibility specializing in Mountain Warfare and Arctic Warfare; prepared to command, advise, or assist up to a battalion-sized indigenous force; responsible for planning and conducting special operations and civil military activities as part of a joint combined, or unilateral force; plans and conducts operations in permissive, semi-permissive, and denied or politically sensitive areas, often as the senior US military representative; responsible for all aspects of detachment command, control, training management, and tactical employment; responsible for the welfare of all detachment members and over $5 million in assigned equipment.
