As the Vice President of Specialty Brands for the Home Group, I lead three profitable, direct-to-consumer brands with revenue scale, Art.com, Hayneedle.com, and AllswellHome.com. My closest colleagues know my rare combination as a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold three companies and also held leadership positions in Fortune 20 companies. I'm proud that I have had such versatility in my career to build start-ups from nothing, manage public company boards and lead at some of largest and most respected global brands. During my 7 years at Microsoft as a Group Product Manager, I launched businesses in 23 countries.I worked as a photojournalist in my early career. I shot for the likes of Time, USA Today, NBC, and The San Francisco Chronicle. As a founding team member of MSNBC, I built some of the first digital journalism experiences.
