This was a temporary position I held to supplement my income from UPS while paying student loans. I recruited, interviewed, and hired professionals in a variety of industries for temporary and temp-to-hire positions in the Northwestern Suburbs of Chicago.

While I held many position titles here (special assignments, vacation coverages, lateral transfers, etc.) I always hovered around an HR Rep role...partly because I had garnished the trust of the employees and management and gained credibility through my ability to meet their HR needs. My most rewarding position came when I covered for an Employee Relations Representative / HR Rep who went on Maternity Leave. For nearly six months, I spent my time tending to the needs of the HUB employees, administering their benefits, providing promotion information and interviewing promotion candidates, hosting on-site college visits from local institutions, administering the Earn and Learn Program and nearly tripling participation, and more. I would have to say that my six years at UPS were some of the most stressful, intense years of my life, but with the highest reward.
