I am currently an Optometric Physician and Optometric Leadership and Advisory Council (OLAC) member with Acuity Eyecare Group (AEG) based out of the Cleveland market. I am the chairperson for multiple sections of the OLAC including the OD Engagement Committee and Auto-letters and Consents Committee. I have been selected as an OD Trainer responsible for training newly-joined doctors at AEG within our region. After graduating from Southern College of Optometry in 2016 I joined a 2-doctor optometry practice in Knoxville, Tennessee and quickly became a partner in the business. Over the course of 5 years in business ownership, I was tasked with expanding the practice's local and regional reach, improving the patient centered experience, growing and developing the team and establishing a secondary location. My clinical interests include binocular vision, vision therapy/rehab, sports vision, ocular disease and family care optometry. I have continually involved myself with leadership positions in organizations dedicated to advancing the eye care field as well as volunteer opportunities within the local community.
