Apple mobile application for a sector in the service industry. It handles the work in process from the work order through invoicing as well as providing CRM. The application interfaces with the customer facing component to provide scheduling, service queries and opt-in push notifications.

iOS development

I completed a team coding project for Yamaha Golf Cart Division. My piece involved reverse engineering an undocumented variation of a lease amortization calculation tool including some of the UI and the design and development of DropBox integration as a private cloud for data sharing among sales associates. A second project was a marketing game oriented App which is under NDA. The App involved JSON web services integrating with core data to track user selections, scoring and rewards as well as aggregate statistical information. Currently working with one other developer on a LinkedIn integrated App to assist in marketing efforts which we plan to release to the Apple App Store in the first Quarter of 2014.

Re-architected their data center. Installed 6 IBM Blade servers and redundant backbone. Installed Win 2003 Enterprise X 64 and 2 exchange 2007 servers. Worked with GIS programmer and 60 person staff to re-point all applications to redundant Network Storage Array.

Architect, and install several WIN 2000 domain servers and clean up Domain forest. Install and implement backup library hardware and Veritas software.

Initially a 6 week project responsible for porting a WEB data distribution application from a VAX environment. My contract was extended and I was responsible for interfacing with other departments, vendors and Weather Channel internal clients.My responsibilities grew to include: 1) Hiring manager, technical lead and interim manager of an 8 person development team. 2) System administrator. 3) Laying out a development architecture to support a multi-vendor development platform (SGI IRIX & HPUX). 4) I worked with the Director of MIS to establish the user administration procedures. 5) I established coding standards, makefile templates and RCS source code control for the projects as well as the over-all project design. 6) Laid out the initial ERD for the project database. 7) Primary contact for the Internet Service Provider(ISP) and involved with the architecture for the WEB site.
