Scenic Aperture’s photography workshops provide unique and exciting opportunities to photograph the most scenic areas while providing meaningful learning opportunities for photographers of every skill level. Each workshop includes multiple morning and afternoon photo shoots with classroom sessions in between. Workshops are designed to help clients get the most out of their camera and develop their creative vision.On-location and classroom training is customized for each participant’s needs from fundamentals to advanced techniques of photography and digital post processing. Our photography workshops are both exhausting and exhilarating with long days during which we work hard to take advantage of our time together. Our mission is to make sure our clients have fun, develop their creativity, and create beautiful images.Influenced by a previous career in Architecture, I am a creative and inspiring teacher of photography. As an artist and creative professional, I educate by working side-by-side with my clients in the field and in the digital darkroom. I learned early in my architecture career that the creative process is not a destination but a journey. It is a journey that includes research, planning, timing, technical skills, creative judgment, and a bit of good luck. My success as a photographer is founded on these principles.

Frank is the president and CEO of The Schemmer Associates Inc., a full-service, architectural and engineering firm with specialization in education, senior housing, industrial, transportation, and government. Frank possesses a rare combination of technical expertise and strong leadership skills necessary for sound business management, leading teams of design professionals, strategic business planning, and executive leadership.As Chairman of the Board since 2003, Frank, in concert with other elected directors, is responsible for representing the firm’s shareholders by monitoring senior management and maintaining alignment between ethical corporate governance and shareholder priorities. In addition, he leads the firm’s annual strategic business planning process to establish and achieve business goals.
