In a continuously evolving healthcare market Agfa HealthCare is expanding its products and services IT portfolio. The Technical Product Specialist supports the business at EMEA level. The Technical Support Specialist will act as the main contact person to the local organizations for technical pre sales support of Enterprise Imaging, IMPAX Cardiology and IMPAX Nuclear Medicine. In addition the role will work in close collaboration with the EMEA & International Enterprise Imaging team.As a key member of the Marketing IT EMEA & International team, the Technical Product Specialist:• Ensures the liaison between the countries SSU and the product centers in HQ, by supporting the pre sales consultants and account managers on technical questions, system design and RFP replies.• Is responsible for managing demo units for system demonstrations during congresses, shows or customer meetings. Work closely together with the product application specialist to ensure that demo units will perform according to the needs. • Provides input in the roadmap and develop skills in the organization in accordance with the product portfolio and the market requirements.

Support of the European Services organization. Technical support for high-end IT solutions and implementations in all EMEA countries. Training and knowledge transfer to the local Services organizations.Main responsibilities• Performing first and second level support activities for AGFA subsidiaries, OEMs, dealer and customer • Performing installations, updates/upgrades • Escalating support cases to the next level with follow up • Preparing and conducting product/solutions training courses and workshops for AGFA subsidiaries, OEMs, dealer and customer • Creating of technical specifications and solution requirements • Functional validation of products/solutions • Validation of OEM product updates / upgrades • First contact to OEM partners for Service related tasks • Training and knowledge transfer to the local organizations • Validation of the serviceability of our new solutions • Validation and of third party product’s • Technical support in presales phases on scaling & architecture • Technical advise

Technical skills: - Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of networking, hardware and operating systems (Windows & Unix), databases (SQL), remote connectivity, security and image processing.- Internal tools include Microsoft Office suite, Lotus Notes, and Intranet based knowledge management. - Knowledge of workflow for clinical images and information within a PACS environment.Soft Skills: - Excellent communication skills. - Able to work in a global environment - networking and building relationships with personnel located around the world. - Customer-focused (both internal and external). - Good organizational, documentation and time management skills. - High adaptability to change. - Good understanding of the Services business, product launch process, and the healthcare environment. - Languages: Fluent in Dutch, French and English (oral and written)
