I established the Debt Operations Group and aligned it to reflect GSC’s future vision. The group’s principal function is supporting the Distressed Debt Investing Group, the Middle Market Corporate Credit Division and the Structured Finance Business Group.The responsibilities include supporting the firm’s trading activity, waterfall distributions, compliance testing, daily cash reconciliations, loan closings/refinancing and all management reporting needs. I strategically grew the group to a 25 member operational team that supports over $25 billion dollars of assets under management with a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced environment.

Maintained a portfolio of corporate loans that grew in size by 50% to 1 billion through the use of enchanced systems intergration and employee development. Grew customer base from 50 to 120. Oversaw the administration of customer lending and repayments against established credit facilities. Monitored cash flow status of the commercial lending area. Reporting daily activity in regard to existing client paydowns and borrowings to IBJ Whitehall’s Treasury Department.
