Frank's responsibility as a Director/Global Training lead was to expertly oversee and implement the development and training activities of personnel and support systems of all global projects and operations. To ensure streamlined approaches and processes, Frank led teams on-site for training and development. He facilitated and developed resources to fulfil learning outcomes and further support engineers, superintendents, surveyors, and supervisors. He has provided best-practice visibility and controls to support global mining projects and companies and ensured teams have the necessary skills and capacity to drive productivity improvement within the operational areas.

Frank designed and developed the InMotion software suite while successfully leading global mining improvement programs for several clients and sites across Australia, Russia, Tanzania, Mongolia, Africa and more, including operational evaluations, mine planning and modelling and time and motion studies. InMotion’s Validation - During this time, Frank had successful meetings with key personnel from the university of Carnegie Mellon who were interested in InMotion’s capabilities and how it would support their autonomous programs. Frank also had discussions with CAE, who was expanding their superior aviation simulators to mining to work with InMotion.Leveraging Frank's negotiation and communication skills, he successfully facilitated high-level meetings with stakeholders and key decision-makers that helped obtain funding and contracts worth 60 billion in 24 months. This resulted in programming expansion and development from InMotion Phase 1 to the next stage of development InMotion Live.

During this period, Frank developed the Phase I InMotion suite with a small development budget of around $3,000,000 over several years. The InMotion Suite has been tested all over the world and is proven to be a critical tool in the global mining improvement program, and its success has shown many operations their true potential. InMotion has since moved on to its next stage of simulator development and autonomous programming.Frank had a JV agreement with Concritech Australia to provide several services and obtain funding for major mining and infrastructure programs around the world. This JV established 5 billion USD in contracts with a further 15 billion in the works, not including the USD 30 million to advance InMotion Phase 1 to InMotion Live.These included:• Civil works projects• Clean water dams• Turnkey Rail Projects• Construction of Hospitals • Construction of Educational Centres, Including:• Schools• Universities • Mining Optimisation Centre for Training and development• Mining projects in Australia • Mining Projects in AUE, Africa, and America• Agreements with Hitachi and Liebherr to establish dealerships in new regions to ensure all above projects and activities were supported• Established contracts at government levels These included working with teams of personnel to mitigate risk and establish solid platforms for project success. These projects required the development of high-level and low-level budgets and strategies to suit all different cultural backgrounds, governments, legalities, and security requirements.This included several high-level meetings in Dubai and Australia to finalise contracts and funding, including the management of internal transfers and all the governance around internal transfers, which required working closely with Westpac’s foreign exchange office in Sydney.

In 2005 Frank was contracted to exclusively work for Hitachi Australia, which then extended to Hitachi Global in Tokyo, Japan, which saw him travel nationally and internationally as part of Hitachi’s awareness and improvement program, with the main goal of increasing market share by increasing the client’s ability to improve machine and operational efficiencies, improve safety, reduce operating cost and increase machines availability and life cycle. The main goal was to increase market share. (This program saw an increase in sales from around 450 units per year to 650-700 units per year.)This program built a close relationship with Hitachi Global in Japan, meeting and working closely with senior executives to improve the product and services.Rolls and responsibilities:This role provided Frank with an opportunity to work from a clear platform and was given full autonomy in consultation to build and implement the systems and programs.This role saw Frank and his have several visits to Japan, providing key recommendations for improvements and educational programs to Hitachi engineers and clients for their senior staff.
