About Frank Doupona
At the advanced age of 14 I began working for my father's land development company as a way to occupy my idle, mischievous hands. It was like a Huckleberry Finn adventure, and never felt like a chore. I began working for house builders during my time away from school, and as I moved through my education became enthralled with the science of buildings and how they function as a collection of complimentary systems. While finishing my Masters Degree in Architecture and beginning to practice in the profession, I have never lost my desire to be close to the construction site. I still love the smell of freshly poured concrete, and watching a thoughtfully composed design become part of our built environment. This has led me to start my own design-build practice.
