As a Financial/Credit Analyst I am responsible for the management of a commercial credit portfolio of approximately $12 million. Duties include approving and controlling the extension of credit to customers by using instruments such as financial statements, business information reports, and bank references, trade references as appropriate. I am also responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of AR performance and metrics set forth by management.Responsibilities:• Compile, analyze and maintain information on credit worthiness on all customers within portfolio• Approve and control extension of credit to all customers within the limitations established within Financial Services guidelines and limits of authority, using credit instruments (i.e., UCC, joint check agreements, letters of credit, liens) as appropriate make recommendations for credit limits over limits of authority• Prepare reports and conduct monthly reviews with multiple Sales Managers taking necessary action to improve performance and achieve established goals and objectives• Generate cash flow and investment turn over to meet sales, profit , DSO, and bad debt objectives of the company• Reconciliation of customer accounts, including open debits, credits, and unapplied cash• Forecast and collect the accounts receivable in accordance with terms of sale and department objectives
