At Philips Assembleon I was responsible for customer support of all Off-Line software products, that is software that did not run directly on the SMT Machine. I was responsible for direct customer phone support, training, and software issue tracking of all Assembleon software in the Americas Region. I often traveled to customer sites and installed and trained customers on the use of the software in their manufacturing environment. I also conducted training at the Assembleon facility as back-up to our primary trainer for all software products.Software Products Supported: - PPS (Production Preporation Software) versions 3.0 to 8.0 - PPS-Pro versions 6.0 to 8.5 - AMS (Assembleon Manufacturing Suit) Versions 2.0 to 3.0 Including 5 modules Product Preparation Line Control Manufacturing data communication. At C-Cor I was part of an engineering team that supported an entire Electronic Manufacturing facility. I was the first in the group, and was present during the plant start up. I commissioned and installed the SMT Lines and was primarily responsible for for the Surface Mount and Pre wave solder machine areas. I was primarily responsible for programming the Philips SMT machines for production. I also programmed other machines, including: Camalot Dispensing machine, Hella Reflow Oven, Contact Systems 400e, Universal VCD & Sequencer, Universal pin inserter. I was also responsible for creating assembly documentation and production process flow. I trained operators on machine operation and maintenance, and supported the day to day production.
