Supply, Fleet, and Space Manager for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (USFWS) Mountain and Prairie Region. Responsible for more than 7500 equipment items worth more than $94.8M, an annual operating budget of $340M, and approximately 600 personnel serving 118 national wildlife stations and hatcheries in eight states.ACCOUNTABILITY: Manage 1.4K vehicles and 80 government-leased or -owned buildings. Collect and analyze historical data to assess utilization history and forecast future vehicle and facilities requirements.LOGISTICS PLANNING: Develop plans, policies, and procedures to cover multiple supply objectives, including but not limited to fleet utilization and proper use of the fleet charge card, surge operations, and facility management. Develop and supervise programs for maintaining property accountability using a SAP (Systems Applications Processes) software system. Conduct communications with regional and remote site managers to identify and solve complex problems in supply chain and equipment life cycle management. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND EFFICIENCY: Interface with program managers to assess vehicle usage and develop potential courses of action to reduce storage and fuel costs. Coordinate the exchange of old equipment items for new, more efficient items.SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS: *Saved the USG more than $2M by identifying excess inventory and coordinating redistribution within other regional departments of the USFWS to satisfy shortages elsewhere. Transferring equipment to OGAs saved an additional $940K.*Sold through GSA excess and obsolete equipment recouping $1.3M in funds that were used for other initiatives within the Region.*Reduced the total inventory of medium- and light-duty vehicles by 14.6% in an 18-month period. Reached quota ahead of deadline, reducing the fleet by a total of 253 vehicles without impact to operations. This was the largest single vehicle reduction in the USFWS and saved the region about $6M in vehicle-associated expenses.

Director of Logistics for a 248-bed Combat Support Hospital. Led and directed the hospital's largest administrative division consisting of a Property Book section, Medical Supply, Medical Maintenance, Facilities Management and Transportation in order to assist the unit to be combat ready and prepared to complete any medical mission. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the entire logistics system for the hospital to include facilities management, laundry, general and medical supplies, power and vehicle maintenance, blood management, water distribution , waste disposal, fuel distribution and transportation. Oversaw the hospital's Government Purchase Card Program. Managed the hospital's operation budget of $1.6 million and ensured the proper stewardship of over $84 million in organization equipment.

Provided direct oversight of medical logistics and maintenance operations that raised the division’s overall medical equipment and supply readiness from 52% to 92%. Recognized by the commander of all US Forces in South Korea as being one of the top 5 sections for readiness.Simultaneously deployed a forward surgical team, $2.3 million in equipment, a 231 personnel medical task force, and medical task force headquarters into combat operations. Recovered $82,000 within the division’s operational budget through meticulous attention to detail in identifying, planning, and executing turn in of non-mission essential medical supplies.

Mobile trainer for part-time Army units. Worked closely with the operations staff in scheduling the training event, then planned the training based on information gathered from units in combat, assembled my team drawn from units across the nation, developed a list of critical tasks to be performed with my team and the deploying commander. Trained approximately 320 medical logistics’ personnel and 45 personnel in a combat support hospital as part of their pre-deployment training and evaluated their readiness in order to approve the efficiency and effectiveness.Worked directly and extensively with medical surgical and equipment suppliers who provided hands-on training to end users that were used in these combat theaters.

Served as Group Logistics Officer responsible for coordinating logistical support for 3000 soldier Special Forces Group. Responsible for the logistical support and strategic logistical planning for two US based units and one overseas unit. Provided logistics interface with theater level logistics infrastructure, Army Special Operations Advanced Logistics Element, US Army Special Forces Command and Fort Carson Logistical Directorates on all matters of support. Developed logistics estimates, annexes and operational plans for special operations missions. Provided assistance and guidance to subordinate units on all logistical issues and ensured that the Group Support Battalion was integrated into the Special Forces Group logistics plan. Responsible for recording, tracking and maintaining all financial loss investigations and purchase requests and commitments.

Captured requirements and coordinated the necessary medical resources facilitating mission success for Special Operations Forces units to include Rangers, Special Forces, Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations participating in operational and training events. Provided initial acquisition strategy and course of action as required for Special Operations Forces operations in the European Command area of responsibility.
