Als adviseur en projectleider werk ik aan gemeentelijke omgevingsvisies waarin ik actief werk maak van een integrale en duurzame aanpak en zorg voor een sterke inpassing van participatieve processen. Daarnaast adviseer ik op verschillende niveaus hoe duurzaamheid en de energietransitie opgenomen kunnen worden in landschapsontwerpen, stedenbouwkundige opgaven en de instrumenten van de Omgevingswet.

I contributed to the Natura 2000 Biogeographical Process, acted as a liaison with consortium partners, and supported the organisation of seminars and workshops across Europe. Furthermore I was responsible for the maintenance and development of the Natura 2000 platform and other communication and outreach resources.

TOPOS is an online blog which is created by students in Landscape Architecture, Spatial Planning and Cultural Geography from Wageningen University in the Netherlands.

Genius Loci is the study association for Landscape architecture and planning students at the Wageningen University. The BUITEX is part of Genius Loci and is responsible for the organisation of an annual study trip to locations outside of the Netherlands. For the summer of 2014 we put together a trip to Scotland where we visited companies, NGO's, parks, redevelopment locations and of course the Highlands. As a member of the Land Use Planning group I helped with developing and supervising several new BSc. and MSc. courses in spatial planning.

I researched the possibilities of cross-border cooperation projects in the field of spatial development between Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Besides this I assisted in writing action and development plans and participated in brainstorm sessions and meetings. I also conducted a scientific literature study into international cooperation and borderscapes during my time at DLG.

I contributed in the design and visualisation of new playgrounds and green areas around universities, governmental buildings and flats. Besides this I made technical drawings and cross-sections for new roads, ramps, staircases and rivers.

I researched the possibilities for a new estate using the Dutch ‘rood voor groen’ policy and making the initial design. Another project was advising a large Dutch municipality on ways to maintain public green areas. Besides this I assisted with several other projects, designs, visualisation and the stocktaking of trees in urban and rural areas.
