I was the sole general partner in a general partnership that owned and operated cable systems with almost a half million subscribers in a half dozen or so markets.

Participated in fundraising and helping determine the organization's strategic direction.

Multi-state cable television system consisting of three limited partnerships in eight states. Followed highly disciplined acquisition strategy leveraging the power of the minority tax certificate to secure ownership of systems with approximately one half million subscribers over a four-year period. Sold company to limited partner at a valuation of $800 million with total estimated equity return to partnership in excess of 300% and an estimated IRR in excess of 35%p.a.

I ran McClatchy's non newspaper operations, including, cable television, broadcast radio and various computer information services. I also served on the board.

I lead a partnership that was conducting a trial of a precursor to the internet. I also participated in the general management of the company's cable television businesses.
