Executive with more then 40 years’ experience in IT, Project Management, Leadership and Automotive.I started 1979 in IT at Volkswagen as a software engineer for Vehicle logistic systems and developed my career in IT. From 1999 to 2004 I worked in the US and acted as a Vice President and CIO for gedas USA, a Volkswagen IT company . After this assignment I moved to China until 2008 as the head of Management Services and CIO of FAW-VW in Changchun China, a Joint venture between Volkswagen and FAW. In 2008 returning to Germany, I accepted the position as Head of after sales and diagnosis systems for the Volkswagen Group. End of 2010 I was asked to be head of IT for the Volkswagen Sales Division Germany and later in parallel I also took over the responsibility for Dealer-System Integration Systems worldwide. End of 2017 I was named Head of Process and Systems Russian and acting CIO for the Russian Region. Since August 2019 I headed the Digital Plattform and Aftersales Integration for Sales and Marketing IT Brand VW until my early retirement in November 2021. 2022 I worked as an advisor and consultant and I joined the team of ACENT early 2023. I was asked for the whole year 2023 to support VW IT as a Knowledge Bearer. In January 2023 I was also asked to join the advisory board of asvin GmbH Stuttgart. Since March 2024 I work part-time as a consultant and advisor for a big IT and consulting company.
