As the head of IT for the Sales Division Germany Mr. Hocke was responsible for the Retail and Wholesale - Systems for Volkswagen and Audi in Germany. TOGETHER with the Business leaders he and his Team developed the "Retail Integration Germany" Program, called HiD.

Mr.Hocke managed together with his Team the "Dealer Management System" Integration and development of Standard DMS-Systems into the the Volkswagen World, Retail and Wholesale. They developed the Template which sets the Basis for all future Integration activities.

Mr.Hocke became also Head of IT for vehicle diagnostic and created a new Department, together with his business partner to manage the development of Volkswagen new Vehicle Diagnosis-System (ODIS).

Working in a joined venture between FAW and Volkswagen, named FAW-VW Mr.Hocke was responsible for the Organizational Unit named Management Service (MS), reporting to the President of FAW-VW. At FAW-VW MS is still responsible for Organization, Process design and rollout and Information Technology. FAW-VW is an independent OEM in China designing, producing and selling Volkswagen and Audis. In 2017 they sold more then 2 Million cars to their customers in China. .

As the CIO Mr.Hocke responsible to support the global gedas technology strategy in the USA. In addition he function as the “Cross Business Unit” adviser regarding Technology Standards and Interaction. He also was responsible for the Volkswagen Account for gedas in the US. In addition he managed all sales and delivery activities related to the Line of Business CRM. He also was the head of the Software – Development Team of gedas USA.

Mr. Hocke was the leader of Volkswagen’s distribution System for vehicles, where he was responsible for the rollout in Mexico, South Africa, Brazil, SEAT and SKODA. In Addition he was the team leader for the importer system for small markets (NADIN). He also served as a consultant for Volkswagens “direct sales philosophy” during this years. Later he also consulted the North American Region to establish new processes for Sales and Logistic.
