Franki Bagdade owns and operates FAAB Consulting, which offers school and camp consultation as well as training for professionals in education, camping, and mental health fields. Franki has written several articles for publications such as Metro Parent (Metro Detroit), Chicago Parent, American Camping Association-Camping Magazine, Autism Parent Magazine (UK), Respectability, The Time Timer blog and more.Franki received a BA in Elementary Education from Michigan State University, an M. Ed. in Special Education from Wayne State University and an MSW in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kentucky,Franki is a certified teacher in several areas and is a Licensed Clinical Social Work in the state of Michigan. Franki spent 5 summers on the director team at one of the largest residential camps in North America. She was responsible for oversight of the disabilities inclusion initiatives as well as community care/mental health for approximately 1500 campers per summer. She supervised a large 10-person Camper Care Team/Senior Leadership team including 5 mental health professionals and masters level educators.
