Responsible for resourcing talent from secondary schools. Recruitment and public relations right from the local area to the rest of Europe.To support the training centre management team and the running of the college attracting students to Lakefield courses via contacts with schools and other establishments/organisations.Assist in the recruitment, interviewing and retention of students.To prepare, deliver and assess some general modules for level 2 and level 3 studentsTo assist in the development of Lakefield courses and filling of same via personal relationships and using technological means available to attract students to our coursesTo use and maintain databases of contacts in schools, educational establishments, clubs and other places where potential students may be.To assist the team with efforts to market courses, attract students and find new sources of fundingTo make necessary professional contacts for fulfilling the aims of Lakefield

- Promoting and supporting the Catholic ethos of the school- Attending assemblies, school masses and other religious observances and events and contributing to the preparation of these throughout the school year.- Working to achieve the general and particular aims of the school, expressed in the school mission statement and the school development plan.- Planning and preparing courses and lessons, appropriate to the age of the pupils, and covering the range of subjects required by the curriculum of the school, as laid down by the governors.- Teaching, according to their differing educational needs, the class or group assigned to me, in accordance with methods and teaching styles agreed by the school, and promoting the general progress and well being of the children.- Keeping records of planned work, in accordance with methods laid down by the Headteacher.- Setting and marking work to be carried out by the children, according to their different levels of ability and attainment.- Organising the classroom, the educational materials and apparatus so that it can be used to the best advantage in the learning process by all pupils. - Making assessments of individual pupil progress in the core subject areas and keeping all required records in the agreed format.- Providing written reports for parents at the end of the school year.- Organising educational visits and activities which support and enhance the learning of pupils.- Maintaining good order and discipline and safeguarding the health and safety of the children.- Communicating and consulting with parents of pupils, at planned meetings and other times. - Participating in meetings at the school which relate to the curriculum of the school or its administration or organisation, including pastoral arrangements. - Selecting and ordering equipment and materials for educational purposes- Participating in professional development and inset programmes, both school based and at external training courses.
