Frankie has been an artist throughout her life, with a focus on botanical art over the past decade.Following an extensive career as a marketing professional, most recently as a Fortune 500 CMO. Where her responsibilities included developing and implementing marketing communication strategies including multi-media, social media, event management, direct mail, educational forums, public relations, and media relations. Focused on design to effectively brand products in order to support global and domestic sales teams. She achieved substantial success by generating $34 million in commission revenues and earning the distinction of leaders conference. Frankie left the corporate world to focus on her art in 2020.Using her relationship management skills to build and retain the trust and loyalty of clients throughout her career, Frankie has been recognized with numerous awards including Award of Excellence, Smithsonian Award and Big W Adverting Club Award. Frankie earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio Wesleyan University and is a graduate of Cornell Leadership Forum. She is a member of the CMO Council based in San Jose, CA. These skills continue to be significant in her work and she works with her patrons and building awareness of her art.She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University; initiated studies for a Master of Fine Arts through the Split Rock art program at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and completed her studies and holds a Certification as a Botanical Artist through the prestigious New York Botanical Garden Botanical Illustration Certification Program.Her work has been included in group exhibitions at Ohio Wesleyan University, Syracuse University and The New York Botanical Garden, and recently had solo exhibits at the Clearview Public Library in Windsor, CO, and Bath Greenhouse and Nursery in Fort Collins, CO..Works are in the several private collections including: Professor Marti Kalb, Ellen Manint, and Norma P. Miller.Using various mediums including graphite, watercolor, fiber and colored pencil. Her goal is to create intriguing, joyful works in celebration of nature with a focus on native and endangered species.Through exploring the minutia of the plant world and interpreting it through her vision she strives to share beauty and joy through this work with the viewer.
