Heading up the marketing department at Goodman Nash it is my responsibility to support the sales team with their unique sales journey. This is a new challenge for me which relies less on lead generation and more on trust-building and finding unique ways to reach our niche market.

I work for Agency UK in the B2B team as an account manager. Their diversity of clients makes this role challenging and incredibly rewarding. We have a large team of experts meaning that all elements of campaigns and projects are of the highest standard.

Having worked in agencies for the past 15 years, I have now started my freelance adventure. This current role can be more varied and I am currently working on anything from content creation for an international charity to an entertainment venue in Cardiff.

Duchess Media grew from a 2 person business to one of Bristol's best recognised agencies for hospitality and events. My role as Director was to run the agency, manage the team as well as run digital marketing campaigns with my focus mainly being to deliver the content creation, social media marketing, seo and paid media campaigns.

Working through an agency, I wrote SEO content to create backlinks to the PokerStars website. A condition of this content was that it had to be useful, insightful and worthwhile content. On average I would write 5000 words a week on a variety of subjects from virtual gaming to the latest fashion trends.

Prohibition Bristol was an events company I started with 2 friends. We organised large events in Bristol with a vintage twist that allowed our attendees to escape into a world from the Prohibition era and celebrate with food, cocktails, cabaret, burlesque and live music. Our events were extremely popuar but have been put on hold as I have moved to Malysia.While events were still active, I led the digital marketing strategy and supported ticket sales through social media, blogger outreach, SEO and content marketing. I built an online persona to help create intrigue and mystery to sell the event.

Redfest is a free community festival held in Bristol and is organised entirely by volunteers. I got involved with this project as I feel it's important to give something back to the community you live in.As head of digital marketing it was my role to help Redfest engage with its audience and to build a strong online presence outlining the work they do and why it's important. By doing this we were then able to ask for help from our loyal audience to support the festival through campaigns such as our crowd funding project.I built this audience through their social channels, by working closely with the community, maintaining a good website with good information, running a content strategy and carrying out blogger outreach.

My role at True was to work on several large B to C clients running their social campaigns, building their audiences and brand loyalty, social customer services, SEO, content marketing and assisting with their overall digital strategy.

My role here was to work on the Shell business outreach programme. We had to translate their corporate pack into several languages and then re-create the pack into these languages. It was my role to assist in this process to make sure the new packs were laid out correctly and the translation had been copied properly- it made my attention to detail very strong as several of the languages were in a different alphabet to that of my own.

Working with the Search Director, I was working on both Aptamil and Cow & Gate to improve their SEO. This included writing about pregnancy and breastfeeding - which I have absolutely now experience about! It taught me how to research and write compellingly on a subject I was not familiar with.

Working with accountants across the UK it was my role to coach them on how to improve their websites and SEO.
