I have been fortunate to work in the legal field in my hometown of San Diego for twenty-two years. I became interested in the legal field after graduating from San Diego State University with a B.A. in History and went on to complete a Certificate in Legal Assisting from San Diego State University College of Extended Studies. I enjoy working in the legal field because it has allowed me to do things and work with people that I would not have had the opportunity to do so otherwise. I have worked in various roles such as a Paralegal Assistant, Personal Assistant, Case Assistant and Trainer. During the last nineteen and a half years, I have been working at Higgs Fletcher & Mack LLP. For almost six years now, I have taken on the duties of a Training and Training Coordinator being responsible for organizing, standardizing and teaching firm software and procedures. Being a Trainer has allowed me to use my background in various staff roles along with my certification and training in computers.
