My named is Frank Faron I am a first year student and the University of Cincinnati. My life a been a rocky path I moved around northeast Ohio a lot and gone through many schools during my pre college life. One thing that has always stuck with me was my work ethics and my drive to be successful. When I started in high school I lost myself for a time transitioning from sports to something new because of a severe concussion. I had to reinvent myself not only at a new school but with a new activity for my free time. Ever since I was a little kid I love to build and I loved technology. This got me involved in our Robotics club. Our robotics teams competed in tournaments in live action games verses other robotics that we all built from the ground up. My first year our robotics team won the 2018 2019 Worlds Excellence Award. After this year I was hooked and ready for this to be the rest of my senior year. I had another passion that to build things with my hands. I originally was not going to go to college and go into manual labor after high school but I was told that I would be potentially wasting my future. So i decided to go into our trades school for my high school for Construction Management. I wanted to use the information I learned there to help me for my future in the construction World. During my time at the Trades School I excelled in all my classes consistently being the top of my class and competing in SkillsUSA for job skill demonstration open during my junior year. Rolling around to my senior year I continued in robotics and excelled in my trades classes, but because of the COVID 19 virus there was no SkillsUSA at the beginning of the year. As the year continued SkillsUSA was back on but I competed in a different competition Which was Job Skill Demonstration A for states since I qualified from the year prior. In this competition I scored 1 point off of perfect and came in 4th Place in the state. After this I graduated and got accepted to the University Of Cincinnati. Starting my new life as a college student.
