Frank earned a bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the Ohio State University with a concentration in Landscape Architecture, and a Master’s in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Housing and Real Estate Development. Frank is an AICP certified member of the APA, and a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. He also holds a CNU-A certification, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). While his primary focus had been in real estate development, his planning experience involves long-range planning, economic development, urban design, zoning, and land-use regulations at local and regional levels. He specializes in corridor redevelopment, Comprehensive Plan development and community engagement. He served 2 tours of duty in the Middle East with a US Air Force engineering squadron. He has worked in both the private and public sectors, and has worked directly for and on behalf of local governments where he focused on providing technical assistance with development review, and area specific planning as well as working on comprehensive plans, master plans, and unified development ordinances.Frank has significant experience with public outreach, and has a successful record of both identifying solutions to improve community development processes, and building consensus around issues with project stakeholders, the public, and elected officials. He has an exceptional ability to communicate technical data and analysis in terms that are easily digestible. A real estate industry veteran, Mr. Hall spent 17 years as Managing Director of The Olentangy Group Ltd, in Columbus, Ohio, a company he helped build into a multi-faceted real estate development consulting and investment firm. The company specialized in the acquisition and repositioning of new or underperforming real estate and real estate related assets. In addition to development, ownership and management of real estate, the firm's activities included mezzanine financing and private equity investing.Frank enjoys Surfing, Snorkeling, Hiking, and Kayaking. He also enjoys traveling, and searching for “hidden gem’ and “hole-in-the- wall” food joints.
