Started managing the day-to-day operations of a 200-station computer lab and 25 student employees. Defined computer workstation configurations and was lead manager for the student helpdesk. Participated in the team that re-designed the campus network which included implementing Windows NT Server farm, 2 DNS BIND servers (unix) and MS Mail servers (12,000 mailboxes). Designed/ implemented the first Active Directory servers on campus with Windows 2000 and Exchange 5.x. Migrated all MSMail mailboxes to Exchange 2000. Migrated campus AD accounts to state system AD Forest with an upgrade to Exchange 2003.Started handling security issues for the campus related to acceptable use and DMCA compliance. Performed some minor forensic examinations of employee desktops as requested for Human Resources and campus police. Designed and implemented the first firewall on campus using Fortinet technology.
