Physicist and senior software designerat CEOS GmbH, Heidelberg.CEOS is renowned for their state-of-the-art spherical and chromatic aberration correctors used in transmission electron microscopes all over the world.► For our novel Post-Column Electron Imaging Energy Filter I ● designed and implemented key infrastructure parts of the Python/PyQt5 based filter control software: - hierarchical data base for storing and switching between filter modes, - Framework for developing and executing Python scripts, ● developed and still developing algorithms for semiautomatic and fully automatic filter alignment and currently I am ● implementing and testing those algorithms at the filter.► For the SALVE Project (Sub-Angstroem-Low-Voltage-Electron- Microscope; http://www.salve-project.de) I ● designed the low-voltage aberration corrector using numerical simulations and ● supervised the punctual and successful construction and assembly of the corrector. Key to success was my hands-on approach and my close teamwork with all involved departments at CEOS.► Developing novel image processing and aberration measurement algorithms using C++ and Python.► Leading an excellent developer team, we designed and implemented the new generation of client/server based software platform for controlling our correctors and successully introduced it to our customers. Key to our success were ● state-of-the-art software technologies (C++, STL, Qt for GUIs, design patterns) and ● close collaboration with our customers to ensure the ● seamless integration with their control software.
