    I began my professional journey with Walgreens as a Pharmacy Intern in Houston, Texas as I was entering the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. I continued my professional learning as a staff Pharmacist for Walgreens and at a regional hospital in Houston upon graduation. I transitioned into my first leadership role as a Pharmacy Manager. I led multiple, high volume retail pharmacies for Walgreens in the greater Houston area in this role. I continued my leadership journey with Walgreens being promoted to District Pharmacy Manager of the Western Houston suburbs and then quickly transitioned to leading the East Texas area. I was promoted to Manager, Pharmacy Communication and Training relocating to Walgreens’ Corporate office in Deerfield, IL. While in Deerfield, I co-led a transformational project in Orlando, FL, and Tempe, AZ, centralizing retail pharmacy operations before being promoted into my role as Regional Healthcare Director for the Texas & Oklahoma region.
