Underwriter Responsibilities:Receive and review incoming loan application requests and supporting documentationReview all application documentation (Bank Statements, Merchant Statements and Applications) and determine if additional documentation is required in order to underwrite the application. Verify completeness of application packet or mark incomplete accordingly.Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and basic underwriting guidelinesData entry of the information in CRMCommunicate with ISO's, Brokers Support, and merchants in both written and verbal form to ensure that turn-times and time commitments are metJunior Expediter Responsibilities:Conduct detailed financial analysis to determine the credit worthiness of merchant; perform risk-based underwriting reviews of applications; which includes the analysis of bank statements, merchant financial statements and various other business documentation.Determine Merchants credibility and payback ability via in depth review and verification of information.Researches the business, which includes the reputational reporting websites for positive or negative reviews.Identify risk factors within each loan and utilizes resources, tools and documentation to detect red flags and clear inconsistencies.Determine the client’s ability to repay an advance based on analysis of cash-flow, statements, tax returns, trend and ratio analysis, and other financial informationCommunicate with ISO's, Brokers Support, and merchants in both written and verbal form to ensure that turn-times and time commitments are met

- Evaluates new and existing clients' credit worthiness based on the credit scores gathered from internal and external sources.- Conduct initial verifications of clients' credit card application based on existing bank Parameters.- Check the completeness of the documents submitted by the clients- End-to-end processing and analysis of client's credit card applications within the agreed turn- around time- Conduct phone verifications regarding client's details obtained via signed application form- Escalating suspected fraud spotted upon processing- Minimizing company loss by mitigating erroneous approved applications- Approve / decline applications based on right credit decisions with right credit limits- Endorsing applications to Exceptional Lending Authority on applications that fail to meet the parameters but with endorsement from higher management.
