My responsibilities included redesigning previous microfluidic device patterns, imprinting the design onto chrome wafers through soft lithography and UV exposure, transferring the imprinted design to a layer of PDMS, preparing the devices for testing in the biology labs, and troubleshooting imaging equipment and methods of preparing the cells. My responsibilities also included 3D printing angled stands and fixtures to aid in the proper fabrication and quality of the imprinted designs.
