I assist with set-up and quality assurance of email and SMS fundraising content going to our lists, helping Senate Democrats raise tens of millions of dollars in the final months of the 2022 cycle. I also help with drafting responsibilities for the committee, of both rapid response and evergreen content.

The National Democratic Training Committee provides Democratic candidates, staff, and local leaders with the training they need to run successful campaigns. As a member of the Live Training team, I assisted with the behind-the-scenes logistics of scheduling and evaluating our programs, including helping the team plan for the 2022 cycle and refining internal processes.

I supported the office of Virginia Senator Janet Howell (D-Fairfax County), who chairs the Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee. In this role, I monitored and responded to constituent emails on the Senator's behalf, tracked the progress of her legislation, and followed session each day.

I was proud to support Illinois' 102 county-level Democratic parties as a remote intern with the IDCCA. This internship was my introduction to political communications; my duties included drafting press releases, compiling press clippings, and writing draft copy for social media. In addition to these and other tasks, I helped plan and execute the IDCCA's annual County Chairs' Brunch, the largest annual gathering of Illinois Democrats.

I was proud to be on the initial team of seven callers chosen to take on a volunteer leadership position as the Biden campaign pivoted to the general election. In this role, I assisted staff in a variety of ways: helping on phonebanking trainings, answering questions on our Slack channel and Zoom "office hours," offering guidance to our newer moderators, and answering calls-related emails sent to the campaign's official inbox (including drafting replies saved by the DNC for future campaign use). Over the course of those three-plus months, what began as a team of several hundred callers grew into the largest calls program in electoral history to date, and was a major factor in the success of the Biden-Harris ticket.

After seven years as a camper, I chose to join the YMCA Camp Minikani staff in order to provide the next generation of campers with the same memorable experiences as I received. Weekly responsibilities included planning and executing afternoon activities for my cabins, keeping parents and guardians in the loop by writing emails and completing weekly camper reports, and providing written and oral feedback to members of the Leadership Training Program.
