I am a professional Health and Safety Practitioner registered with the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (SAIOSH), CHSO/34360839 and the South African Council for the Projects and Construction Management Professionals (SACPCMP) CHSO/1659/2018.I have been in South Africa since 2006. I have worked as a safety officer for 9 years in different sectors like oil and gas(refineries) building construction, piping, tanks, mechanical, structural and civil and power plants (power stations) I have gained a vast experience by working with different managers who inspired me to that effect. I have worked in the regions of Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu Natal, Gauteng Mpumalanga and Northern Cape provinces in the same capacity of Occupational Health and Safety Officer. I am a good driver with code 10 driver license.My experience grew much as I always face challenges to effect safe system of work and develop risk assessments where required due to changes in the scope of work, machinery, etc. As a safety officer, I definitely become a team leader in the safety department, giving training where required. Lead incident investigation of incident, from a near miss, minor injury to serious injury or accident in the workplace which I am very good at. I am very good at providing basic safety and health training to build up safety culture.
