I have always been interested in nutrition and wellness, as well as helping and educating others. This led me to study Nutrition and Dietetics at Queens College and then obtaining my Masters Degree in Nutrition at Columbia University. I am a RDN, a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and also a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES). My current position as a Minor League Performance Nutrition Associate with the Syracuse Mets has provided me with valuable insights with working with elite athletes and tailoring nutrition programs to their specific sports performance goals. Previously, as the Senior Dietitian at Sunriver Health, I worked with a wide variety of patients ranging from HIV positive adults to those with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders. And regardless of my client's background, I provide individualized, collaborative care to provide meaningful change and health improvements. My current goal is to continue to apply my nutritional knowledge and experiences to help others reach their best health and performance goals.
