- Developed technologies for the fabrication and assembly of microfluidic (BioMEMS) and nanofluidic devices (with dimensions less than 30 nm) in Silicon, Fused silica and Thermoplastic substrates for high throughput analytical separations. - Designed experimental schemes for the development of a Time-of-Flight based nanoscale electrical sensing platform in Fused silica substrates for the label-free electrical sensing of sub-micron sized molecules and next generation DNA Sequencing for point-of-care biomedical diagnostics. - Developed bench top instrumentations in optical (high resolution laser induced fluorescent microscope) and electronic systems (low noise high bandwidth amplifier) for the detection of single molecules. - Served as a research mentor to both national and international undergraduate and graduate students.
