In April of 2018, Socrata joined forces with Tyler Technologies, the leading provider of software solutions to the public sector. I continued to lead 60+ of the best Product Managers, Product Designers and Engineers as we worked to marry Socrata's leading government data solutions product with Tyler's extensive footprint within the public sector. During this time we continued to grow our internal data sharing platform, adding millions in new revenue, while launching a number of innovative products to Tyler customers.

As both the Director of Product Development and Vice President of Product Development, I had the privilege of leading 60 of the best Product Managers, Product Designers and Engineers in the business. During this time, we pivoted both the business and the platform, launching a brand new internal data sharing platform in May 2018 to break down the silos of data within government. We increased our ASPs by 3x, while reducing our sales cycle in half. Internal company confidence in the product increased from 34% to 74%, while ProDev engagement grew by over 30 points, as measured by our semi-annual employee engagement surveys.

Led three local teams and one remote team to deliver key platform functionality, including: - Single sign-on (SSO) - Geographic queries and cartography. - ETLAlso successfully led an effort to migrate from our monolithic data store to a more flexible SOA.Finally, incepted and launched our real-time data streaming solution "Pulse" to provide customers with instantaneous insights into their transportation and operational data.

For the first six months at Socrata, I worked as TPM, ensuring that the technical direction of our backend technologies were aligned with what we needed for business success. In addition to working on authentication (SSO) and platform ingress / egress, I also helped drive the migration from our original monolithic data platform to a new micro service oriented stack.

- Introduced integrated identity, sign-in and cloud connectivity into Office 2013- Built out cloud-based personalization system that is projected to scale to 100M+ UU / day (currently 27M UU / day). - Defined and drove cross-company vision for dealing with multiple identities within Office and Windows- Introduced secure, modern authentication protocols to Office, including OAuth, WS-Fed and SAML

- Led team that designed and implemented real time monitoring, processing 10M+ datapoints / sec- Drove continuous improvement process for identifying and resolving active customer impacting issues- Designed system to deploy the Web Apps to 2000 machines in 7 datacenters.- Shipped multiple features, including versioning and co-authoring in Web OneNote.

- Responsible for all File IO within Office- Collaborated deeply with Windows to connect Office’s IO pipeline with the Cloud
