I founded Falcon in 1958 to sell pedestal table bases to a food service market that was growing rapidly. Knowing that the table base was fundamentally important to the success of this industry, we designed a base that would become the standard. That same design is still used in over 80% of all food service establishments. .I’m still convinced of the importance of the table base in that it serves as the "foundation" of every food service facility.We are presently shipping these bases from our U.S. distribution center for many O.E.M providers of furniture for the U.S. Food Service market. Today, two out of three meals are taken outside the home. While witnessing this continued growth of food service in the US and especially places like China, my son Michael and I are using this tested model to grow a new brand, Jacobs International. I’m happily married to Marylen Mann.
