• Participated and served as the manufacturing process subject matter expert in a two 3 day value stream mapping (VSM) events for the highest volume production lines accounting for over 60% of the company’s business.
• Transformed the JDAM wire harness line to single piece flow using the Toyota Production System. This line was able to meet a takt time of 2.4 minutes using a layout of 33 stations.
• Created the layout for the JDAM line as it moved to the new work area.
• Lead and participated in several 5-why analyses for internal and external corrective actions.
• Worked within the manufacturing engineering team to develop processes and procedures to support the production needs.
