Started in banking as a marketing assistant at a Mastercard Issuer ,later joined a forex trading house for a short stint as a trainee trader,joined Universal McCann in 1998 as a junior planner and left as media director in 2003.Worked briefly in a start up Saracen (later OMD), DDB , Initiative Media and then became an independent consultant . I also briefly worked at Meidaedge:cia. Went full circle and returned to Saracen where I ran the media agency PHD between 2008 and 2011 July . Now running my own agencies in Mobile and strategy, Digital and Media consultancy.Specialties: I understand the African media market,having worked with key global brands on a regional basis.I also have strong brand and marketing experience.I have a good understanding of the dynamics of new media.I am a strong negotiator and able to secure good relationships with media suppliers as I often have empathy about the drivers in their business .I aim for complete objectivity in media planning and always work to start with a blank page.Accountability is the most important aspect of what i do.
