-Performed statistical analysis of Chicagoland's low-wage workforce, specifically analyzing the retail and food service industries-Built, transfigured, and utilized a database of CPS microdata from the March Outgoing Rotation Group-Estimated the number of Chicagoland workers who are employed in low-wage ($12.25 per hour or less) jobs and who earn less than the minimum wage ($8.25 per hour), and cut the data by race, gender, education, age, and citizenship status

-Analyzed, synthesized, and provided recommendations to businesses, nonprofits, and labor leaders-Performed statistical analysis and data entry, wrote research grants, drafted analytical reports, and presented results-Co-author of thirteen reports: three on low-wage industries and workplace violations, six on public sector workforces and labor-management relations, one on the manufacturing labor force, one analysis of the Illinois labor market, one regression analysis of the impact of right-to-work on labor market outcomes, and one economic impact analysis of Illinois’ construction industry

-Collected community data and research, then analyzed the findings using Excel and STATA-Analyzed the effectiveness and efficiency concerns of low-income affordable rental housing policies, and conducted outreach to gain community insight on the programs-Developed a database to synthesize and analyze qualitative data from community outreach-Built strategic alliances and helped organize the 2012 Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland "Policy Summit on Housing, Human Capital, and Inequality"

-Managed the budget of the registered student organization and cooperated with other student organizations to fund joint events-Engaged in research projects with community organizations to inform policies of Chicago neighborhoods
