CurrentRepresent wide range of plaintiffs as lead and supporting attorney in all aspects of individual, collective and class action litigation, including wage & hour, discrimination, and consumer protection arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, New York Labor Law, New York City Human Rights Law, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.-Serve as lead Associate on collective and class actions with up to 2,000 plaintiffs. Handle plaintiff interaction, preparation and defense of plaintiffs through discovery, and assist partners in overall direction of the litigation. -Perform initial intake with potential clients to assess factual basis for potential claims and investigation of defendants to assess viability of potential cases.-Draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions for class and collective certification, preliminary and final approval of settlement, and summary judgment; motions opposing summary judgment and motions to dismiss. -Appear for court conferences, hearings, settlement conferences, and oral argument. -Create detailed damages spreadsheets calculating damages for individual, class, and collective actions.-Negotiate terms of multi-plaintiff six-figure settlements and draft corresponding agreements.-Supervise and instruct junior associates and law clerks.
