I am a 35+ year veteran of the luxury yacht industry. I have been involved almost every aspect of yacht design, systems design, and construction. I have also been a sailmaker and professional racing yacht captain. But it is my real-world experience while at sea in many of the cruising destinations around the world well as my business experience that allows me to provide my clients with solutions that maximize their yachting experience. My 45 years of experience make me uniquely qualified in assisting my clients wether is is selling their yacht or helping them find the perfect new or pre-owned yacht. Specialties: My specialty is assisting clients with structuring yacht purchases as business investments for tax advantages and reduced cost of ownership. I enjoy assisting clients with succesfull planning and executing yacht commissioning & outfitting projects.I have also worked the high-end marine electronics business. I was a partner in Ultimate Yacht Management in Chicago, IL. I designed a state-of-the-art instrument system for some of the most successful Grand Prix racing yachts in North America and Europe. These systems required a high level of technical proficiency to master due to the complexity of the calculations involved. I am also a successful international racing yacht captain.
