Full-time Lecturer in the Finance Department at CSULB and Fractional CFO. With over 30 years of business management, financial and accounting experience, I have successfully managed many start-up and other entrepreneurial endeavors. While the majority of his experience has been in real estate development, management and turn-around projects, I have also managed numerous operating entities as diverse as live concert venues, consumer products, live pay-per-view events and restaurants. Currently, I am consulting with a company that is looking to raise $40,000,000 through a Reg A+ offering. We hope to be submitting the documentation to the SEC in the next two weeks for approval and starting the fund-raising process as soon as the offering is approved. I am also working with the Orange County Business Council as their fractional CFO and with Xostem as their fractional CFO.Previously, I was working with a medical device start-up company, Cell MedX as the President and Director of this Publicly Traded company, that is working to bring a new medical technology to market in the field of diabetes and pain management. I also have other clients where I act as their CFO. Included in past clients was CareOnSite (now Tang & Company) a specialty health care company that is in the midst of rapid growth and is moving from a small, family run organization to a larger corporate structure. I helped to move them to the next level and migrating their accounting systems to new computer programs that will work better with their rapid growth. In addition, I learned medical billing along the way. During my three-plus years with CareOnSite, we doubled the size of the company.My passion on the side is that I am also a full-time professor at California State University, Long Beach where I am teaching finance and management classes.And finally, I serve on the Board of Directors of Ojai Oil Company a diversified oil producer and self-storage company.Past employment has included time as the Chief Operating Officer, VP of Finance and an acquisition analyst for several successful real estate companies. In addition, I have started and managed three separate property management companies Education includes an MBA in Venture Management from the University of Southern California in 1980 and undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Finance from California State University at Long Beach.
