Designed to support efficient patient monitoring/discharge, hospital capacity management and effective in-community re-enablement, the system is actively monitoring 20 patients, demonstrating the impactful use of technology in enhancing patient care and communication.HaloCare: Implemented an IoT monitoring system, Aura, that provides real-time insights into resident data through Web and App interfaces for both customer care staff and end customers. Currently monitoring 106 residents, this system empowers Halocare with the necessary information to provide personalised care, showcasing my commitment to improving the quality of life for the elderly through technology.Geriatrician Led Assisted Discharge (GLAD): Developed an IT platform that facilitated a real-time, accessible shared record for patient monitoring, contributing to the project's success in monitoring 115 patients across multiple facilities (the Mater, Anam Cara Residential Care Home and Beneavin Nursing Home) during COVID. This project won the Irish Healthcare Awards 2020 for Best Covid-19 Response: Public sector (Hospital), highlighting my ability to lead and innovate in critical healthcare solutions.My qualifications include a Master’s in ICT Management from Trinity College Dublin and a B.Eng. in Electronic Information Systems Engineering from Coventry University, UK.

Lead Solution / Integration ArchitectMeteor Feb 2007 - Feb 2010The architecture team was the design authority for Meteor’s billing replacement program and it delivers advice and guidance in functional areas such as core billing, customer care, provisioning, financial reports, invoicing, sales and marketing. As team lead, my role involved aiding project management with the assignment, tracking and coordination of tasks within the architect team and giving direction and guidance to other team members. The role also involved gathering business and functional requirements and formulating high-level solution architecture. In an earlier stage of the program I worked as an Integration Architect. This role involved the specification, production and sign-off of interface specifications between Meteor’s internal applications and third party vendors. Most interfaces were SOAP based and ensure the compliance of the Meteor’s SOA based middleware platform and the Meteor’s data model. I also helped with the planning of non-functional systems and performance testing. -

This allowed single point of access control for web and web service traffic. JSP’s, Servlets, Filters and EJB’s were used to develop the system.•Web services interface, to allow automatic registration and service request transmission directly from an installed product’s Java GUIs.Another part of the project involved, providing feedback on both bugs and system enhancements to Iona’s application server development team. -
