Community InRoads (formerly Jericho Road) Lawrence’s mission is to partner with and support non-profits serving the Lawrence and Haverhill, Massachusetts area by providing them with pro bono, professional expertise. Our goal is to empower and contribute to the capacity and gifts of the women, men, and youth living, working, and studying in the community by fostering a sustainable network of effective non-profits dedicated to social justice and economic equality.

Euthanasia is never practiced unless it is considered more humane to do so.

Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School (NDCR) provides a Catholic, college preparatory education to economically challenged youth in the greater Lawrence area. NDCR is sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and is a member of the Cristo Rey Network, a national association of 32 private, Catholic high schools across the U.S.What makes Cristo Rey schools unique is their innovative Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP). The CWSP enables all students to earn the majority of their tuition by working in mid to entry-level positions in a variety of companies. All student workers complete a comprehensive Summer Training Institute in August, participating in over 40 workshops including Phone Skills, Filing and Scanning, Internet Safety, Excel, Word, Taking Initiative, Business Etiquette, Ethics, and Time Management. Students take great pride in their work and feel a true sense of accomplishment when they help their companies accomplish mission-critical work. The students hold a wide-range of positions including bank tellers, HR assistants, IT assistants, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Finance and more.Companies, or “Corporate Partners,” benefit by hiring a team of four students who share a full-time, entry-mid level, professional job. (There is flexibility in the program to accommodate every company’s size and employment needs). Financial leader for the international division during a period of double digit growth and transition from departmental status to divisional business unit status. Long term strategic and financial planning, financial reporting, including the transition from GAAP to IFRS, financial modeling, Sarbanes-Oxley and the general manager for troubled real estate entity. Reduced annual allocated expense charges by over $500,000.

Directed all accounting, financial reporting, financial services and audit through a staff of 35. Direct reports included Controller, Financial Services/FP&A and Internal Audit managers. Upgraded the financial staff and built a finance team with a strong identity and sense of pride. Implemented formal planning and expense management functions, project management tracking systems including tracking a $40m technology project. Rebuilt audit function to support financial auditing and Sarbanes-Oxley and administrative support, including human resources.

FM Global is the result of a five company merger, which included ARKWRIGHT. Merger integration and transition implementation - included building a staff to meet the challenges of a dynamic post merger environment and merging key financial and operational systems, including profit reporting and a corporate data warehouse. Led efforts resulting in the creation of company pricing tools, an engineering cost accounting system and a model for the allocation of corporate overhead – Key drivers of profitability.

 Oversaw the development of the company’s objectives and key result areas and their translation into corporate and operational financial plans, including the development of results management dashboard reporting. Led the development of network-based planning and reporting tools at location, customer and summary levels. As a member of the Company's Operational Management Team, provided financial leadership to marketing initiatives, such as market segmentation, engineering resource analysis and customer correction/retention plans. Directed the accounting and reporting for the company’s $250 million reinsurance programs through a staff of 15.

Esterline was a publicly held holding company of 21 high tech manufacturing and service entities. - Planned and executed financial audits, prepared quarterly 10k filings, provided due diligence for product and entity acquisitions and financial support for divestitures.

Multi- location consumer products and services division of Sanyo Electric, Japan. - Built and managed the companies first internal audit department including the implementation of warrantee cost models, resulting in reduced accrual expenses of over $2 million.

Global manufacturer of food and consumer products. - Planned and executed financial audits of Carnation’s domestic and international manufacturing and administrative facilities including extended offshore engagements with Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
