About Frank M. Forte

For over 30 years, Frank has lead, participated in, and managed projects and programs around the world for clients such as the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U. S. Army, NASA, Computer Associates (CA), Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Verizon (GTE), and ThyssenKrupp. He has worked across many different industries, including Oil & Gas, Defense, Software, Government, CPGs, Industrial, and Healthcare. Frank started his project management career in the United States Navy while serving on nuclear powered submarines. He spent a total of 11 years in the navy and was part of the crew that built the USS Atlanta SSN 712. He was also part of several major overhaul projects on other cutting edge submarines. Following his time in the Navy, Frank became involved in hardware refresh projects on multiple Naval platforms for the U.S. Government while working for Unisys as a field engineer and project manager. He has lead software projects as a Requirements lead, Design lead, Test lead, as well as Program and Project roles. He has spent the last 13 years primarily focused on SAP software projects in various roles, such as client engagement, pre-sales, escalation, and delivery as a Program and Project Manager.Frank is committed to the human interaction side of projects, particularly how leadership plays a role in success and failure. He has explored the other aspects of projects and is convinced that people are what makes the difference.Today, Frank speaks, mentors, coaches, and consults for individuals and companies on how to effect change through projects. Frank holds a BSCIS with graduate work in Software Engineering. He is a certified speaker, trainer, and coach, with the John Maxwell Team. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and a Certified Computer Professional (CCP). He is the President of Forte Leadership Technology, LLC.
