About Frank Micciche
A proven executive leader with deep knowledge of healthcare policy, advocacy, external relations, and development. I've worked for and with elected officials and leaders at the state and federal levels to advance bold agendas for mission-driven organizations, building strong partnerships and coalitions across the healthcare spectrum to do so. I have extensive experience as the face of the groups I've represented - at conferences, in public testimony, and media opportunities. I am passionate about creating environments where teams and team members can thrive and producing revenue growth for meaningful, public-facing causes. In my most recent prior role (2014-2023), I led a team of 25 professionals at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), as the Vice President for Public Policy and External Relations. I developed and executed all Communications, Education, Corporate & Foundation Relations, and Government Affairs strategies for NCQA, in support of our work in areas such as health equity, digital quality measurement, value-based care, health care quality, and telehealth. During my tenure, we significantly increased NCQA's accreditation of Medicaid managed care plans via state mandates and grew sponsorship and event-related revenue by 2X against baseline. We also created our two signature annual events (Quality Talks and the Health Innovation Summit), through which NCQA convenes thousands of thought leaders and highlights our vision for the future of health care. After a brief period of reflection and family time, I have rejoined the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) to lead a 5-state campaign seeking to elevate awareness of the national debt in advance of the 2024 elections. In addition, I am contributing to the work of our Health Policy team, with a primary focus on Medicare reform. I look forward to returning to healthcare in a leadership role when the right opportunity strikes. In the meantime, I am extremely fulfilled by my work with CRFB and hope to play some small role in driving adoption of more responsible fiscal policy for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
