I have spent over 47 years in Federal sector Labor Management Relations. I am the Labor and Employee Relations Officer at the Department of Commerce, managing the labor-management relations program covering 38 different bargaining units and approximately 19,500 bargaining unit employees.I provide guidance and assistance to each of the Department's 38 bargaining units -- preparing for negotiations, grievances, obligation to negotiate, negotiation strategy, etc. I developed a new Discipline and Adverse Action policy for the Department.In addition, I am the Department's Program Manager for Teleworking, Drug Testing, and Suitability.Specialties: Negotiations, Third party proceedings, Grievance processing, telework programs, employee relations, suitability programs, and administration of Federal Government's Drug Free Workplace Programs.
