Owner'S Representative
CurrentActing as an owner's representative, The Beacon Projects Group will:•Represent the interests of, and be highly responsive to, an owner's needs •Assist in selection of design professionals and fee negotiation •Supply the planning, management, technical expertise and support to ensure successful completion of a project •Interface with the architect, general contractor and subcontractors •Hold pre-job conference with principals, including builder, to ease the owner's burden and to settle misunderstandings before construction starts •Help focus on priorities and goals for successful completion of a project •Contribute to streamlining of planning, construction and move-in processes to meet targeted completion dates •Make recommendations in regard to specific issues and/or problems such as field conditions, site logistics and phasing of the work •Ensure smooth collaboration and communication/reporting among all parties •Eliminate mistakes and 'start over’s,' thus keeping project on budget •Provide quality control, scheduling, cost reduction and value engineering •Deal knowledgeably with local, state and federal regulatory agencies •Monitor work in progress on constant basis •Perform regular due diligence inspection
