I was born and raised in Fresno. I tried several jury trials in a short amount of time as a Deputy District Attorney.I went to work for my civil trial practice law school professor where I learned the ins and out of civil litigation by defending clients in lawsuits at the request of their insurance companies.I tried more jury trials while working as in-house counsel for a national insurance company. There I learned how insurance companies evaluate injury claims. I completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy's (NITA) Trial Skills Course. After being recruited to work for a local firm defending a large insurance company in lawsuits brought against it by their insured, I started my own firm to help injured people stand up to the large, well-funded insurance companies, and I haven't look back.

General PartnerNunes-Bray Partnership Jun 2001 - Mar 2014I took over running our family's vineyard in Selma after my father Marvin's untimely passing in 2001. I quickly learned how much had changed since I last actively worked on the vineyard in 1984. The vineyard and the entire raisin industry had bottomed out. I left the office to pick grapes on the family vineyard when the labor supply dried up. Eventually, I found a way to not only make the vineyard self-sustaining but to even generate a small profit. I took the vineyard from a low producing, tax-liend, minimally valued property to an income-producing facility that increased in value. We sold the family vineyard in 2011.
