Manage annual audit process.• Preparation of accounting and tax records for partner capital accounts, including contributions, distributions, allocations, withdrawals and forfeitures. Reconstructed partner capital accounts on both a GAAP and Tax basis from firm inception to present.• Manage and monitor daily global cash flow, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and banking relationships. Implemented cash flow projection reporting for senior management. Outsourced desktop support and infrastructure monitoring to a hybrid remote model, eliminated need for significant capital expenditures to update old server hardware, and ensured proper security and business continuity plans were in place. • Implemented new employee benefit plans through engagement of a Professional Employment Organization (“PEO”), saving $100,000 in annual premium while maintaining existing benefit levels.• Implemented a new web-based general ledger, fully automating the monthly closing process and reducing the cycle by 50%. • Automated T&E reporting process through implementation of the Concur application, resulting in a reduced administrative burden while strengthening controls over employee travel spend.

• Recruited on a contract basis to triage the Finance function in advance of a Series B round of venture capital funding. Over a period of five months:• Reviewed and corrected the firm's accounting records.• Identified control weaknesses and implemented new internal controls.• Prepared financial projections to support the firm's funding request.• Collaborated with the Board of Directors and Investors to improve transparency in daily communication.• Upgraded Finance staff with targeted hires in line with strategic plans.• Successfully revived and closed the acquisition of an Australian company that had been abandoned. Negotiated the terms and conditions of the transaction and subsequent transition.

• Launched and operated two new Cartridge World franchise units in Fairfield County, CT.• Developed an optimal mix of clients (80% B2B/20% B2C) generating more than $320k in annual sales.• Recruited, trained and managed ten employees, including store managers, outside sales reps, and manufacturing technicians, serving a base of 1.5k customers.• Implemented community outreach efforts to increase brand awareness and generate new business.• Won Cartridge World National Marketing Award in recognition of an innovative partnership with the City of Stamford.

• Hired to develop a support infrastructure to properly support and control the company’s existing business as well as allow for future expansion. Developed and implemented a plan to address critical internal control needs, including creating an independent fund accounting team, creating a HR function and recruiting a qualified department head, upgrading legal and compliance personnel, and recruiting a head of IT.• Migrated the business to a shared services model to create a more efficient infrastructure, creating a holding company structure and moving all support staff to the holding company. This facilitated the consolidation of functions, eliminated excess capacity, and resulted in an overall headcount reduction of 20%. The net result was a higher quality support structure at a much lower cost.• Key member of the team that researched and proposed the acquisition of a N.Y. based hedge fund to senior management in Tokyo as part of the effort to expand U.S. investment management capabilities. Spearheaded the negotiations on the U.S. side, and managed the acquisition and subsequent integration plans. • Proposed, created, and spearheaded the implementation of a Business Continuity Plan to ensure the company could continue to operate in the event of a business interruption. The Plan was designed to ensure that in the event of an interruption, the Company could continue to function and meet its business obligations. The final plan was reviewed and approved by internal and external auditors.• Implemented a corporate governance framework to oversee company affairs, including a Management Committee, a Risk Oversight Committee, and a 401K Plan Committee.
